HOW TO APPLY FOR PASSPORT INDIA - BRIEF STEPS

                                       Applying for Passport in India is very easy, you can apply it by going in official passport website i.e. www.passportindia.gov.in. You should have your own email for login id. I'd prefer a new email id for the clients for whom i apply. Then you have to select your Password as per your convenience. After registration you will get a confirmation mail and a link to activate your account.
                                       After activation of your account you will have to fill your basic details like

Name:
If you have ever changed your name:
Dob :
Fathers Name :
Mothers Name:
Address :
Birth Place:
Receding Since :
Identification Marks:
Pin Code :
Thana :

          (Now this is the most important detail you have to fill. In case you fill wrong Thana OR Police Station, your passport will get rejected. If it comes with the Wrong thana filled. Then after 15-20 days you will get a notice from Passport Office form giving false detail and you will be fined or charges some money or if you don't reply them with the proper answer may be they can file a case on you.)

          ( They should not be of your surname or family members. Only those persons will be allowed who know you very well and whose name is given in the form. First ask them the suitable time for them to be free to go to the verification)

After you fill all the details in the form. Review it and Check it properly. It should be true. After that you have to make payment and get the appointment to reach your PSK (Passport Seva Kendra)

There all the verification will be done. You have to take the following documents :

1. Proof of Birth.
2. Proof of Address.
3. All the qualification Marksheets. (from class 10th to Graduation/Post Graduation)
4. Proof of Nationality.
5. Marriage Certificate ( If applicable)
6. PAN Card
7. Bank Passbook.
8. If you are a Govt. Official then you should have NOC from the department.

                  You should be sure to have all the documents else your fill will be rejected and you will have to start roaming and going PSK again and again. So make sure you should have all the documents.

                   Also just go through your documents. You should have all the Name Surname and Address same in all the document. Not a single name different. I have got many issues from the clients about having Name and DOB different if the documents. First make it correct in all the documents or remodify them from their recognized department. Even some people write Kumar in their middle name in some documents which makes a problem during verification.
