The International Mother day theme on Trees for the Earth event was on 22.04.2016. Every year on 22nd April this event is organized all over the world to aware humans about nature and environment. The first celebration or we can say the start of this event was in 1970 by Earth Day Network, and is now celebrated in more than 193 countries all over the world. The main reason for the celebration is to create awareness and change human behavior against Greenlife and nature.
10th Civil Services Day was conference held on 21st April 2016. Prime Minister Award's for Excellence in Public Administration was presented by Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi. Earlier this two day function was inaugurated by Union Ministers Shri Suresh Prabhu and Shri Jitendra Singh.
Twitter Seva was started on 21st April to access government queries though it may be of any department. Its a place where any one can contact and discuss the issues regarding any department of Government. Actually there will be a team which will divert and forward queries in the particular respective department and that concerned department will reply with the solutions within 24 Hours.

After three years, Mr. PK Mishra (Retired Cheif Justice of Patna Highcourt) has been appointed as a Lokayukta of Goa on 20 April 2016. This place was vacant for three years from October 2013 when Mr. Sudershan Reddy himself resigned from the post due to some personal reasons. Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, after the meeting announced the cabinet decision and recommended Mr. P.K. Mishra to the Governer Mridula Sinha as per the cabinet proceedure.
