TOP CURRENT AFFAIRS OF 20.04.2016


                           The rank of India is 133 in the World Press Freedom index which was released on 20th April 2016. Finland is top of all because of freedom given to the media in the nation, their Media has a full right to show what the right is, whereas in India it is usually seen that Media reporters are either corrupt or they lack freedom to post the correct news due to fear of Political Parties. 
                                Nick Backwell is the British Boxer who retired on 20th April 2016 due to severe injuries suffered in British middleweight Title. He was also in a Coma with bleeding in his skull : injured while fighting earlier.

                          Steve David after the 38 years career in England's Snooker, has now to decided to retire. He started his career in 1978 and in 1980 he was one of the unbeatables in history of Snooker. He has also won consecutive Six world tiles from 1983 to 1990. His last match  was on 10th April 2016 when he lost against Fergel O' Brien and suffered to qualify for World Championship. 

                       Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojna was started by Haryana Govt. as a affordable Housing Policy. This program has been approved by govt. under Consolidate Licensing Policy 2015. In this project Govt will provide land to farmers and builders to develop farms and colonies. It is already said by the officials that the project which will be grant under this program should be completed within 7 years from the date of grant of license.

                      Officials of Tata Steel UK appointed Mr. Bimlendra Jha as their CEO. Mr Jha was previously entitled with Tata Steel Europe's long product business. Mr. Jha will now report Mr. Hans Fischer CEO at Tata Steel Europe. Lets see how after successful experience in Europe can led to loss of Tata Steel UK. 


                 A agreement has been signed between AES India Private Limited and Panasonic India for a project to make a 10 MW energy storage in  Jhajjar, Haryana. Panasonic is India's leading Lithium-ion battery supplier and AES India Private Limited is one of the owner and major operator of various power storage projects in the nation.

                            Kartar Lalvani is a author of book "The Making of India". In this book he has shared the opportunities and contribution that Britishers provided India to become a Infrastructural and Basic Institutions which led India to become a world best democratic nation in the years.
